2021 Youth Turkey Contest

Canadian Sportswoman Society / The Real Outdoor Experience / CWTF KLU Turkey Contest

This contest has been created to promote one thing, that is to get you and your kids outdoors together. The CWTF Kids Like Us program was created to inspire you to help mentor youth.

This contest is a great opportunity to do just that and win some amazing prizes.

This contest is open to teams of one adult (over 18) and one youth from 12-17 years of age. Prizes will be awarded based on your hunt results, see event rules below. There are 3 top prizes. The scores will be tabulated using the actual measurements of the bird, plus an additional 2.5 points for using a crossbow, and 5 extra points for using a bow. These scores are based on the youth as the successful hunter, please be honest!

Please note, you MUST follow all applicable hunting legislation, local municipal rules and you MUST hunt ethically. We are teaching youth after all! Adult hunters must possess a valid outdoors card and a valid PAL/RPAL. All youth hunters must have either an apprentice card or an Outdoors Card. Please do not trespass. Pictures of your credentials are required but will not be saved or collected. The organisers are simply collecting information and cannot be held liable. Please see disclaimer below.
